Description
The MCI MC-12 Coach has been the nation's top choice for hard use coast-to-coast bus service. Designed by Greyhound for Greyhound; the MC-12 spared no expense in making the bus cost effective, long-lasting, and maintenance friendly. The typical MC-12 in Greyhound service is retired well after a million miles of service, only to be used for another 10 years+ in secondary markets. The bus that we are selling was purpose built new from the factory as a prisoner transport unity and used primarily in Southern California. It is rust free, and in excellent condition. This 1999 model has the beset of both worlds with the stainless steel structure of an MC-12, and the newer engine and transmission found in newer buses. The Caterpillar C-10 Diesel Engine coupled with an Allsion World B500 Automatic Transmission provides increased horsepower and fuel economy.
