Laser engraving is the process of permanently reproducing a CAD image, artwork, and or text onto a metallic material of choice; such as aluminum, carbon or stainless steel. In engraving, the laser beam removes the material, creating a depression in the work piece.
Ablation is the partial removal of coating layers from the base material that have a markedly different color; e.g., anodized aluminum, lacquer layers, and special marking films.
Virtually any design can be reproduced through either engraving or ablation. Our design department can take any graphic image you have and convert it to a usable CAD file. Of, if you should have need, we also have the expertise to assist you with the design of a new logo or marketing image.
